From 1992 through 2014, in the weeks between Thanksgiving and Christmas, the Nicollet Mall in downtown Minneapolis hosted an “electric parade” of storybook setting and characters comprised of volunteers from the Twin Cities community — “Holidazzle.” The parade floats, street decorations, and certain character designs were created by Jack Barkla, costume designs by Jack Edwards, and lighting and maintenance by Michael Murnane. Float construction was by Rick Walsh — Show Company and Marc Scamp.
