Original paintings and drawings along with examples of work created for theater, dance, and opera. Included, too, are archival examples of Barkla’s work as one of the premier designers in the Twin Cities, including designs created for the Minneapolis Holidazzle Parade, Dayton’s (Marshall Field’s/Macy’s) auditorium holiday displays and the annual Dayton’s/Bachman’s spring flower shows.
